CaliCrime is an informational website that republishes publicly available law enforcement data from official government sources. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
We do not collect personal information from visitors. We do not require account registration, and we do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
Like most web servers, our hosting provider may log standard access data (IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamp) for operational and security purposes. These logs are not used to build user profiles and are not shared with third parties.
All incident data displayed on this site is sourced from the City of Los Angeles Open Data portal (data.lacity.org) and other official public records. We do not collect, store, or display personal information about individuals.
This site uses Google Fonts to load typefaces. Google's servers may receive your IP address as part of font delivery. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
